Shurala had obtained the "Everstone," a mystical artifact said to grant immortality to its bearer. When she acquired the stone, a formidable devil slipped into her body. Monplize intended to make both the stone and the evil spirit his. Whenever his cronies came after Shurala, she effortlessly evaded their every attack. But the constant assaults awakened the demon within... And in the blink of an eye, her foes, along with the entire landscape, were reduced to ash.

Name origin[]
Shurala posibly can be a feminine form of Shurale (Cyrillic: Шүрәле or Шурале, Tatar: Şüräle, Turkish: Şürele), a male monster (a forest demon) in Bashkir and Tatar mythology. According to legends, Şüräle lives in forests. He has long fingers, a horn on its forehead, and a woolly body, he can shapeshift into many different forms. He lures victims to a thicket and has many tricks, including leading peasants astray, making them sick, or tickling them to death.
