Those humans who had finally arrived at that deepest pit of hell, beyond the forest filled with trees with razor-sharp branches, swamp infested with snakes, and a literal sea of flames, were likely shocked when they witnessed the heinous demons. Unlike what they had read about in stories or seen in works of art, the beauty of the demons confounded them. And yet, at the same time, never could they have imagined anything more terrifying. As much as their hearts leaped at the creatures' beauty, their minds shuddered at their frightfulness.
