Lore[]
Rarely did Tethys or her love spend a moment apart, and the very sight of the couple was aberrant to many. Still, there were none who dared interfere, discouraged by the likely consequences of separating such a savage beast from his maiden. Without such disturbances, the relationship continued to last. Neither species nor form held any relevance, for between them was the truest love.

Name origin[]
The Tethys Ocean was a prehistoric ocean that covered most of the Earth during much of the Mesozoic Era and early Cenozoic Era, named after Tethys, who, in ancient Greek mythology, was a sea goddess, a sister and consort of Oceanus, mother of the Oceanid sea nymphs and of the world’s great rivers, lakes and fountains.
