Most disheartening of all, she noticed the sparkle in his eyes had given way to the dark abyss of corruption. She swore to have her revenge as she returned to the forest and shredded the flowers he had given her. However, her rage had blinded her to how it was the power she had conferred to him that was the catalyst for his change.
