The demon was proving to be formidable opponent, and Iifa and the knight soon found themselves driven into a corner. Before death could close its clutched around them, she brought out her trusty harp and began to pluck the strings, producing a sacred melody that enveloped them with divine protection. An invisible, impenetrable barrier kept the demon at bay. As long as Iifa kept playing, it could not reach its prey. Eventually, the monster was forced to slink away in defeat.
