(Stirred) Black-horned Behemoth

Lore[]

The horns of the behemoths were imbued with precious magical power, which caused the creatures to be constantly targeted by other monsters. But each time, the behemoths would repel the intruders without fail. One day they attempted to use the weapons procured from their enemies, which they realized would allow them to exterminate their foes even more easily than before. This discovery made the already formidable behemoths even more deadly. For in addition to brute strength, they were now able to handle weapons -- formerly the monopoly of the weak and timid.

Name origin[]

Behemoth is a beast mentioned in Job 40:15–24. Suggested identities range from a mythological creature to an elephant, hippopotamus, rhinoceros or crocodile. Some creationists believe it to be a description of a sauropod due to its tail being described as like a cedar tree. Metaphorically, the name has come to be used for any extremely large or powerful entity.
