Berry was requested to thwart a merchant who had monopolized the sugar supply not long before Valentine´s Day. Her enormous familiar carried her to the unscrupulous baron´s headquarters,trampling any who stood in their way. The people of the city cheered to see justice served, but her motive was far from altruistic. "If anyone+s going to hog all the sugar, its going to be me!" she declared with triumphantly as she hauled several large sags of the sweet granules back to her residence
