Ryuka thrived in the post-apocalyptic world. The swarming demons and crazed humans meant that it was impossible to cross an open plain without being attacked. Yet it was precisely because of these conditions that Ryuka was able to kill as he pleased. He gripped his blade and continued across the wastelands, waiting for his next would-be attacker.

Name origin[]
Ryuka ("short poem of Ryukyu") is a genre of poetry in the Ryukyu Islands and Amami Oshima composed in Ryukyuan languages. In the latter island, it is also called Shimauta (island poem). Ryuka is different from tanka poetry of Japan.
