As the brilliant sunlight of summer faded, swathes of vermilion slowly descended across the mountainside. However, one mountain was prematurely stripped of its color when the leaves of its trees suddenly fell, as if seized by the icy chill of winter. Julina wandered through the barren forest, her face melancholy. She knew this was not a random occurrence; the aged mountain lacked the vitality to maintain the autumnal display.
