The proud Turnadot was the princess of a far eastern kingdom. She was oft likened to an ice scupture: stunning yet cold. There were no end to suitors interested in her hand, but she killed every last one without the slightest utterance. The people lamented her cruelty, for it was not always so. "Perhaps when Princess Lo-u-Ling passed away, she took her sister's voice and heart with her."
