(Scoundrel) Atrocious Admiral Henry

Lore[]

"There will be no nightmares to haunt your dream after death!" Henry shouted boisterously as he turned his sword on the pirates. Rejecting the foolish, delusional notion of searching for the pirate king's treasure, he thrust his blade into the enemy with a sneer. He slaughtered one pirate after another. As the water surrounding them became tainted with blood, many of the pirates surrendered and begged for their lives. Henry slashed them as well and smiled in satisfaction.

Name origin[]

Henry is an English masculine name of Germanic origin; the meaning is "ruler of the estate, house owner, lord of the manor". From the Old German name Heimirich which meant "home leader, home ruler". A two-element name, it is derived from haim meaning "home, homeland" and rîc meaning "rich, power, ruler". Norman name that is a favored royal name (for eight kings) of England and France. Heinrich is a German form; Henryk is Polish, Henri is French and Finnish.

Henry Every, also Evory or Avery, (23 August 1659 – after 1696), was an English pirate who operated in the Atlantic and Indian oceans in the mid-1690s. He likely used several aliases throughout his career, including Henry Bridgeman, and was known as Long Ben to his crewmen and associates. Dubbed "The Arch Pirate" and "The King of Pirates" by contemporaries, Every was the most notorious pirate of his time; he earned his infamy by becoming one of the few major pirate captains to retire with his loot without being arrested or killed in battle, and also for being the perpetrator of what has been called the most profitable pirate raid in history.
