It was said that dragons born in Ignis' creche and blessed by her protective incantations gained extraordinary gifts. Their blood was clean and pure, granting them immunity to poisons and curses, and their scaly hides were endowed with toughness such that it was impervious to rupture. Though her actions were seen as abominable by some, the dragons shared a deep gratitude for Ignis and the protection she provided for their offspring. Ignis' wishes for closer bonds between dragon and man would surely be welcomed by all. She prayed not merely for the dragons' sake, but for the sake of peace itself.
