(Satisfied) Misha, Starving Spider

Lore[]

Misha felt two different impulses upon seeing the brilliant butterflies in her web: hunger and awe. Her stomach demanded it be filled at once, yet her mind felt they were too beautiful to consume. Released from their trap, the butterflies swarmed around Misha as if thanking her before fleeing the lair. The satisfaction she found in sparing their lives let her forgot both her boredom and her appetite for the moment.

Acquisition[]

See Misha, Starving Spider.

Name origin[]

Misha a diminutive of the Russian name Mikhail (Михаил). A hypocoristic of English, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, Czech Michael, its English-language equivalent would be Mike. Non-Russian usages sometimes have it as a female name, and sometimes as Mischa. Derived from the Hebrew name Mikha'el meaning "who is like God?" with elements "who [is]", ka- "like" and él "God".
