Lore[]
Clotilda is an elf who was loved and blessed by a god of medicine, gaining complete knowledge of all matters medicinal, including the concoction for a serum of immortality. Every day, she bathes in a holy fountain before continuing her life-saving work. As the god has returned to the Heavens, she sustains this ritual in order to maintain their bond.

Name origin[]
Clotilda is an English derivative of the French and Italian Clotilde of Old German origin; the meaning is "famous battle", derived from Germanic name Chlotichilda which was composed of the elements hlud "fame" and hild "battle". Saint Clothilde was the wife of Frankish King Clovis I in the sixth century, and supposedly went into battle by his side and, in her later years, was known for her almsgiving and penitential works of mercy.
