Lore[]
The sword fighter Ginevra, desiring the strength to drive away the monsters who were menacing her village, visited a nearby shrine. Legend said the statues within would aid those who completed the divine ritual if deemed just. Clinging fast to that thread of hope, she knelt before one of the graven angels and lifted the holy goblet. Blood then poured from its fingers, filling the chalice to the brim. Without a moment's hesitance, Ginevra drank it dry.
