It was only a matter of time before Zerachiel was cast out of the Heavens and into the demonic pits of hell, but she could not have been more pleased. However, the denizens of the underworld saw her white wings and regarded her with suspicion. She was branded a "being of Heaven" and attacked without mercy. In the face of this ruthlessness, and with no way to prove her loyalty to the demons, Zerachiel resolved to cast away the alabaster wings that marked her as an outsider.
