Adaliah was the princess of a land of ice, and she was loved by her people for her beauty and affectionate personality. While taking a walk one day, she happened across a man lying in the snow. He was on the verge of death, but she had him brought back to her castle where she nursed him back to health. The townsfolk looked on in pride at their princess' selfless behavior, scarcely aware of the tragedy that lay ahead.
