The hideous fiends let out screams in terror, but the valkyrie pursued them regardless. Perhaps she was a devout follower, or perhaps a savior, perhaps one could look to the fact that her foes were the forces of darkness themselves... yet still, one had to wonder at the permission of such cruelty. The gods turned their eyes from the violence, for they sought only that justice was wrought. Yet there were many who observed Yltier's actions who questioned whether through the warrior, the Heavens had finally lost their way.
