Trespassers could not easily traverse this dense woodland, regardless of how powerful they were. These trees all possessed wills of their own and repelled any intruders at Lidya's command. She would also order them to use lethal force, if necessary. Even gods and demons were trifles to such a mass of stout, sturdy greenery.
