The aerial island of Loftgygs was kept afloat with the mystical power of the Levistone, which required the furnishing of a sacrifice. Soluna had been chosen some centuries ago for this role. The crystal's properties greatly reduced her aging, but this extended lifespan only increased the weight of her sorrow... until the Hero appeared.
