(Overthrow) Patrice the Inquisitor

Patrice's curse slowly drained the vitality of the humans in the kingdom. By the time anyone had noticed his crooked designs, it was much to late. The spell had seeped into the ground, making purification a near impossible task. The corpses buried into the tainted soil trapped the spirits within, making them unable to continue onto the afterlife. In addition, the curse dissolved all civility in the minds of the demons, returning them to their boorish, cruel ways. At long last the kingdom Patrice had envisioned was complete.

Name originEdit

Patrice is a given name of Latin origin meaning "noble, patrician", related to the names Patrick and Patricia. In English, Patrice is often a feminine first name. In French it is used as a masculine first name.

An inquisitor was an official (usually with judicial or investigative functions) in an Inquisition; an organisation or program intended to eliminate heresy and other things contrary to the doctrine or teachings of the Catholic faith. Literally, an inquisitor is one who "searches out" or "inquires" (Latin inquirere "to seek").
