When Bartholomaus first appeared before human eyes, his form was so enormous that his head pierced the clouds. Some stood in silent awe of his majesty. Others flew into a panic, believing the apocalypse was nigh. However, Bartholomaus showed no interest whatsoever in the puny beings below as he beat his massive wings and took flight. He had heard of another dragon, one of supposedly equal power. Whatever happened to Neotellus in the ensuing clash was trivial; he merely desired to prove his superiority over all.
