The saint and the demon could not come to an agreement. Irritated, the demon turned into an evil dragon which spread darkness and miasma across the land. In response, the saint also transformed to resist her counterpart's rampage. Despite the ensuing conflict, a conclusion was still not reached, and so humans were instilled with hearts of both good and evil.
