The man told Jansla that the he had started the fire that consumed the forest she called home. He had intended it to be a harmless prank, but the fire quickly spread out of his control. Jansla took vengeance upon him by burning him in the flames of her hatred. She wanted to make him suffer the same anguish that her family had felt. Her gaze remained fixed upon the man she once loved until the blaze subsided.
