Lore[]
She had grown unable to trust in the supposed kindness in other's hearts. She had lived in many kingdoms, each treating her with more derision than the next, and never before had anyone extended their hand to her. When that small band of warriors invited her to fight alongside them, Frey Rose felt she could at last show that mark on her face, able to forget her past and laugh together with her brothers in arms.

Name origin[]
Rose is an English and French female given name. Originally a Norman form of a Germanic name Roza, which was composed of the elements hrod "fame" and heid "kind, sort, type". The Normans introduced it to England in the forms Roese and Rohese in the 11th century. In the Middle Ages in the form Rohesia it became associated with the word for the fragrant flower rose, which derived from Latin rosa, meaning "rose". In the 19th century, it enjoyed a renewed boost in popularity due to the vogue of using flower names as given names then.
