The water spirits brought the Tidesphere to Okeanos, the goddess of seas. It was the greatest of the aquatic treasures, both holding the whole of the ocean's wisdom and able to manipulate tides, currents, and waves all over the world. She had asked the spirits to retrieve it for a truly vital purpose.

In Greek mythology, Oceanus was a Titan, the father of the river gods and the Oceanids, and also the great river which encircled the entire world.
