(Loosed) Jagra, Incensed Dynamo

Jagra's rage was such that lightning flowed unchecked, overriding the researchers' many failsafes. Their bodies were roasted from within, and the walls and ceilings tore apart. However, attaining vengeance did nothing to placate her. Her thunder shook the foundation of the laboratory, and all the equipment was decimated. The electricity flew until every last stone of the accursed facility was utterly annihilated.

Name originEdit

In Hindu philosophy, Jagra is one of the four states of consciousness a man (or a being) can have; state of waking. It can be roughly translated as "wakefulness". It is that part of consciousness when a person or being can sense this physical universe. Other states of consciousness are swapna (discipline of dream, dreamwork and dreaming), susupti (deep sleep) and turiya ("the fourth", the experience of pure consciousness). Later commentators increased the states of consciousness from four to seven.

A dynamo is an electrical generator that produces direct current with the use of a commutator. Dynamos were the first electrical generators capable of delivering power for industry, and the foundation upon which many other later electric-power conversion devices were based, including the electric motor, the alternating-current alternator, and the rotary converter.
