Lore[]
Eventually learning to cope with his agony and regret, enforcer Edwin continued to discipline the wicked to purify them of their sins. To the righteous, he appeared the pinnacle of justice -- exacting punishments upon any and all those deserving, including his own loved ones. But to evildoers, he was the embodiment of their greatest fears -- his eyes glowed as he indifferently went about his torture, sparing not even his own wife.

Name origin[]
Edwin is an English masculine name; the original Anglo-Saxon form is Eadwine. The meaning is "rich friend, friend of riches, blessed friend", it comes from the Old English elements ead "rich, blessed, well, fortune" and wine "friend". This was the name of a 7th-century Northumbrian king, regarded as a saint. After the Norman conquest the name was not popular, but it was eventually revived in the 19th century.
