The Drakesabers had been created by a struggling sorcerer named Gux. To make a name for himself, he magically refined a pair of swords with the blood of a hundred dragons. When a famous knight held them, the strength of their enchantment consumed him, and he started slaughtering people. As a result, they were sealed away in the royal treasury. Even one as pure-hearted as Hyneshka fell under their influence, turning her into a berserker.
