When Moca started her life as a pirate, she soon became accustomed to and even at ease riding on the waves. She realized that by embracing instead of fighting her true self, she could find peace. In fact, once she became captain, the first thing she did was order her crew to find the hidden treasure of Captain Kidd, her ancestor. Her intention was to carry on his proud legacy.

Name origin[]
Captain Kidd (1645–1701) was a Scottish sailor who was tried and executed for piracy. The Mocha was a ship he had an encounter with.
