As time passed, Balmarth lost his powers and unique color with age. As the extreme conditions subsided, new life began to flourish, giving rise to those who dared to challenge his authority. He awaited a warrior mighty enough to best him in combat. Whoever may accomplish this feat would certainly go down in history, and many epics would be composed lauding their exploits.
