Cronus, following her convictions, continued to hunt and kill her own kindred. Though she claimed her actions were for the sake of peace, they hardened her heart until she became unable to so much as consider how fearful she appeared. Eventually, one child she had not yet murdered decided to fight back. This set off a chain of events which spread warfare throughout the entire world. That accursed prophecy had come to pass.

In Greek mythology, Cronus was the leader and youngest of the first generation of Titans, the divine descendants of Uranus, the sky, and Gaia, the earth. He overthrew his father and ruled during the mythological Golden Age, until he was overthrown by his own son Zeus and imprisoned in Tartarus. Cronus was usually depicted with a harpe, scythe or a sickle, which was the instrument he used to castrate and depose Uranus, his father.
