I looked into the mystery of the Grand Compendium and made an outrageous discovery: It was apparently a gift from the gods. What was more, at the time it was granted, it was purportedly empty, consisting of nothing more than the binding. As for why it was given, when the first fallen angels appeared, there was a small group of humans who were able to resist their temptation for a time, but their hearts continued to be tormented by the enticingly wicked words. In order to sever that chain, this was bestowed to them.
