(Heiress) Lost Princess Demetria

Patrice's spell was only fatal to purebred humans, yet it ate away at Demetria as well. Though her human spirit had been freed from her body, she noticed this allowed her to communicate with both the roving souls of dead and the vicious demons. Then, when the kind Heroes gave her courage, she realized she had to restore peace by her own hand. After all, merely waiting for her prince to come would not accomplish a thing.

Name originEdit

Demetria is a feminine form of Demetrius of Old Greek origin; the meaning is "follower of Demeter". Derived from de meaning "earth" and meter "mother". Other variations of Demetria include Demetri, Dem, Demetra, Demri and Demi.

In ancient Greek religion and myth, Demeter is the goddess of the harvest, who presided over grains and the fertility of the earth. Her withdrawal for the part of the year that her daughter Persephone must spend with the god of the underworld Hades is the reason for winter.
