Name Origin[edit | edit source]

Zenaida (Spanish, Portuguese), Zénaïde (French), or Zinaida (Russian: Зинаида) is derived from the Greek: Ζηναις, Zenais, "of Zeus"[1]

It is a personal name used in many cultures used for women. It can also refer (as genus Zenaida) to the Zenaida doves, named after Zénaïde Laetitia Julie Bonaparte.
