(Exiling) Kikyo, Young Banisher

Lore[]

With her demonic armor, blessed blade, and warding amulets, Kikyo was the realization of the apparitions' worst fears. Even their highest leaders trembled as frightened children in her sight. The purifying light of her implements rent their bodies, as her gauntlet absorbed their souls and banished them to eternal darkness. It was all too evident who the true ruler of the lost city was.

Name origin[]

Kikyo is a Japanese feminine name; means "Chinese bellflower" in Japanese, which symbolizes "purity" or "unchanging love". The flower itself, depending upon the region, is also referred to as the Korean bellflower, Japanese bellflower, common balloon flower, or balloon flower (referring to the balloon-shaped flower buds).
