Lorentz had been freed from the bounds of space and time. Indeed, even the laws of nature were no longer able to restrain him, and he was essentially immortal. Yet his desire for power had not abated. He would transcend transcendence. "All creation should be beneath me, where it belongs." Such overwhelming egotism was what led him to strive to become the next "anomaly". And the "Shadow Prince" was but a mere stepping stone.

Name origin[]
Lorentz is originally German name derived from the Roman surname, Laurentius, which mean "from Laurentum". Laurentum was a city south of Rome known for its laurel trees which are the symbol for honor, peace and victory.
