Amongst the many underground dwarven kingdoms scattered, one was ruled by a human. Queen Anadora reigned over a massive gold mine and large army of staunch dwarf soldiers. She had been abandoned near the mine as an infant, so in a rare act of compassion, they raised her as their own. Growing up stout of heart and body, the decision to let her take the throne was practically unanimous.

Anadora is a genus of beetles in the family known as jewel beetles or metallic wood-boring beetles (Buprestidae).
