Name Origin[]
The term Divine Invoker seems to have originated from Wizards of the Coast.
Invokers, sometimes called favoured souls, are divine spellcasters who gain their power through the direct touch of a deity, carrying with them a fragment of the god's divine power. Invokers have no need for tools, and their prayers come directly from their god.
