(Counter Stream) Ceará, River Naiad


On occasion, Ceará's melody would not affect the interloper. For such threats to the pristine environment, she had a more vehement greeting prepared. Armed with a larger harp and enchanted garb, her approach would be as calm as the ripples on the water. So long as she was within the river's flow, she could not be defeated.

Ceará is the name of one of the 27 states of Brazil and the name probably means turquoise or green waters.

In Greek mythology, the Naiads are a type of female spirit, or nymph, presiding over fountains, wells, springs, streams, brooks and other bodies of fresh water.
