The saintly Betina had been blessed by the gods. But the king of hell had become infatuated with her, kidnapped her and made her his queen. She spent her days in hell, always tearfully recalling her life above ground. But even after descending into hell, she remained kind. She adored the small demons there, who saw her tears and decided that they wanted to do something to help her.
