As I was brought into the cave, the air turned heavy and ominous. Sweat streamed down my body like a waterfall, yet still I was too frightened to cry. I clenched my teeth as hard as I could to try to keep them from chattering. All the while, a faint grudge began to build behind my fear. Why was I the only one who had to die? Why was there no one to come to my rescue?
