Chocolatta sought to drown her beloved in the sweetest compassion. She created a confectionary solely for his sake, which confounded scholars with its inconceivable technology. Those who witnessed it were astounded by the incredible feat of candy production, but the chocolatier could still think only of her love to be. She was convinced that the capturing of the one who enthralled her was but a matter of the amount of chocolate she could offer.

Name origin[]
Chocolatta is a combination of word chocolate with suffix -ta in feminine names. The word "chocolate" entered the English language from Spanish. Perhaps "chocolate" comes from Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs, from the word chocolātl, which many sources say derived from xocolātl, combining xococ, "sour" or "bitter", and ātl, "water" or "drink". Other possible derivation from the Yucatec Mayan word chokol meaning "hot", and the Nahuatl "atl" meaning "water".
