The Minotaur, trapped inside a sprawling maze, could do nothing but curse his existence and those who confined him. As the years passed, that grudge turned into a powerful magic force which built by the day. Eventually, it let him become an immense monstrosity, and he easily destroyed the enclosing walls.

In Greek mythology, the Minotaur was a mythical creature portrayed with the head and tail of a bull and the body of a man. He dwelt at the center of the Labyrinth, which was an elaborate maze-like construction.
