There! Holding his lantern of captured fairies aloft, the ranger peered into the thicket. He loved the look of surprise and despair that came over anyone he caught on his rounds. Some ran, some offered him all their riches, others just wept and begged for their lives. In the past he would just smile and point them on their way, but thanks to the Dark Lord's power, the ranger now sees these lost souls as nothing but fresh meat.
