"Farewell, my beloved..." Ten years after their first encounter, the prince had finally become a king and taken a proper queen, yet his heart had always belonged to Cheripha. Upon discovering his secret, the queen grew crazed with jealousy and commanded the royal army to slay the underground monster. The king learned of her actions too late and arrived only to see his lover descend beneath the reddened water. The queen then feared retribution after her rage subsided, but Cheripha never appeared again. However, it was said whenever misfortune befell the royal family, bitter sobs of unknown origin would echo throughout the lower chambers of the castle.
