Great wings of flame blazed from his back as he cracked his fiery whip. Each time he roared, immolated toxins burst forth. Diabolos had returned, and this was his legacy: Soon the whole world would succumb to the same fate as the Mountain of Death. There was nothing the people could do but pray, and so they did. As his fanatics had for all those hundreds of year, the world groveled in unison, "Let at least my life be spared."
