After learning of the existence of all the Neotellan gods, Gilgamesh ponders the possibility of adding the remaining holy lances -Longinus and Gungnir- to his arsenal. Not until his trio of ultimate lances is complete shall he rest.
Name Origin[]
Gilgamesh was the fifth king of Uruk, modern day Iraq, with his reign at around 2500 BC. According to the Sumerian King List, his reign lasted 126 years. Gilgamesh is the protagonist in the Epic of Gilgamesh, the greatest surviving work of early Mesopotamian literature. He was a demigod of superhuman strength who built the city walls of Uruk to defend his people. He is described as being 2/3 god and 1/3 man.
