Ever since her youth, Lagu enjoyed playing by the pristine rivers, for the water would change its color and shape just for her. Mist and streams assumed the forms of glistening butterflies and vivid flowers entirely for her amusement. Implausible as it might have been, such was her fascinating elegance that it gladly went to any length necessary to please her.
