Valm managed to gain a body and power far beyond its wildest dreams. There were so many life forms on the ark for it to feed from. It had a plan: take out the infamous Heroes and demolish the boat in the process. Its greed had grown with its body. No longer was it satisfied with its size, now it wanted to feed upon all of Neotellus.
